It is another new year and a hopefully a new beginning for a lot of people. The year began uneventful for me. Nothing spectacular happened, a little bleak over the Christmas period but am looking forward to a hopeful year none the less. Never mind the proposed austerity looming ahead, never mind the dangers associated with my country’s upcoming elections, never mind the instability and uncertainty ahead. One has just got to forge ahead with hope and foresight. The past year can only be best describe in the lyrics of one of my recently discovered songs ‘ Somebody That I Used to Know” It is a song written and recorded by Belgian-Australian singer-songwriter Gotye featuring New Zealand singer/guitarist Kimbra. The song was released in Australia and New Zealand by Eleven Music on 5 July 2011 as the second single from Gotye’s third studio album, Making Mirrors (2011).. “Somebody That I Used To Know” was written and recorded by Gotye at his parents’ house on the Mornington Peninsula in Victoria and is lyrically related to the experiences he has had with relationships.
Well 2014 had a lot of dealings with relationships for me and for many others some nice others not so nice. Hopefully 2015 will be an improvement on these relationships.
With these words I hope to bring Jumiesbit to a greater level and interest you with scintillating stories and also call for your contributions to the blog.
